Macrina: a website with the character of La Mancha.
A website that helps travellers discover the apartment, find their bearings in Villarta de San Juan and choose where to complete their booking.

The window overlooking Plaza de la Paz leads the homepage.
The starting point
Macrina is a holiday apartment in central Villarta de San Juan. This family accommodation became our first project: a real property, its own photographs and a clear need to explain the stay beyond its listings on booking platforms.
The website needed to feel welcoming while answering practical questions about capacity, beds, parking, building access, amenities and booking. It also needed to introduce the town without turning the visitor journey into an endless directory.
The design decisions
We chose an identity inspired by La Mancha: light backgrounds, wine and earth tones, expressive typography and small windmill and wheat symbols. The table beside the window leads the homepage, linking the apartment interior with the square outside.
The visitor journey covers the apartment, gallery, guest feedback, local sights, celebrations, restaurants and frequently asked questions. Booking and Airbnb buttons appear where guests are ready to consider a stay.
What we built
- Spanish, English, French and German pages with language navigation.
- An expandable gallery using property photographs prepared for the web.
- Practical information about location, capacity and stair access.
- Local content with links to check routes and opening times.
- Links to the platforms where guests can check prices and complete a booking.
The website does not process its own reservations or payments. It supports the accommodation’s existing booking process and helps guests understand the property before choosing a platform.
